The climate and soils of this area of Terra Quente in the municipality of Vinhais make it prone to an abundance of olive groves and, subsequently, to the production of high quality olive oil. An old wine press, with a stick and spindle, maintaining the original characteristics and mechanisms, illustrated by explanatory panels, was recovered, allowing an in-depth knowledge of the oil cycle.
