WELCOME TO QUINTA DA BOA VIAGEM!
Conveniently located on the slopes of Serra de Santa Luzia, Quinta da Boa Viagem offers a magnificent view over the Atlantic and is only 5 kms from the historic city of Viana do Castelo and 2.5 kms from beautiful beaches.
Boa Viagem is a remarkable example of the sixteenth century of a Portuguese manor house on four hectares (10 acres) of land. The magnificent gardens date from the 18th century and were decorated with baroque statues and fountains, as well as exotic trees and shrubs brought from afar. Just outside the main gate is the Boa Viagem Chapel, also dating from the 16th century and built in honor of Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem. It continues to be visited by sailors and pilgrims on the way to Santiago de Compostela.
The old farm buildings have been converted into 6 cottages, furnished and tastefully decorated, each with living room and dining room, kitchenette, bathroom and a private outdoor space. The houses have one, two or three bedrooms.
There is a common building with a terrace where breakfast is served.
The garden has a large swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers where you can enjoy a great moment of leisure in the middle of nature and see the sea.
