Carmelitas Pastry Shop is located on Rua da Bandeira, next to Carmo Church, a few minutes from the historical center of Viana do Castelo. Cafeteria, pastry and hot bread, also serves breakfast and lunch.
Leitaria do Carmo was born in the year 1960. Here the quality and diversity of its typically Portuguese products make this space a point of reference for the city.
It stands out for the differentiated and tasty confection of the well-known cakes "Jesuits", for who knows them or not, in this house is always worth trying them! are triangular or trapezoidal of flour, butter, salt water, egg yolks, sugar, egg whites and cinnamon.
