Portas da Cidade

Ex-libris of Ponta Delgada, they were built in the 18th century next to the extinct quay, and later transferred to Praça Gonçalo Velho Cabral when the works were carried out on Avenida Infante Dom Henrique. Consisting of three arches, bearing the coat of arms of the royal arms and the city in the middle, these doors are the city's calling card.
