The Casa-Museu Cancioneiro de Águeda presents an exhibition of its estate in various environments and scenes of everyday family life, reconstructing the time of the first half of the 20th century.

Description

The furniture, from the same period, comes from Casa da Alta Vila. In the kitchen there is the only original furniture in the house - a paint lacquered pine cabinet. The bedroom is decorated with an iron bed, a washbasin with china and dresser, pieces from around 1900. The clothes on display are all from the 19th century. The dining room furniture shows the social category of the residents. The library, with more than a thousand volumes and publications, is available for public consultation.
