PR 1 - Trilho da Pateira ao Águeda
The PR1 "Da Pateira ao Águeda", is a short route pedestrian route, which runs through paths and territories in the parish unions of Óis da Ribeira and Travassô and Recardães and Espinhel, joining the banks of Pateira with those of the River Águeda and the two parishes.

Description
Being a circular route, it can be started in any of the places where it passes. However, the leisure park of Óis da Ribeira should be mentioned at the beginning.
The route starts in front of the restaurant, taking a path at the bottom of the park. It goes through forest and traditional paths, sometimes close to the banks and sometimes further away, almost always in the REDE NATURA 2000 area, until reaching the leisure park of Espinhel.
Here, after traveling along the banks of the iron lagoon, go to the dock of the River Cértima along a path along the Pateira bank between willows, laurels, poplars and reeds.
After crossing a broad forest road, continue on the right for another 300m until the Cértima River and its pier.
Once the site is visited, you return to Espinhel Park, by the aforementioned road and reaching a choupal on the left, take a forest path to the right to Serpel road and then a path to the left, through the forest. This path leads again to the Serpel road, which runs for about 200m, after which it takes another one on the right and which leads to the entrance to Espinhel, whose urban core is about 500m away.
Now the route goes to the Águeda river floodplain through paths between chestnut, oak and laurel woods. You reach the Águeda River, go through the Valbom fountain and then past the Matriz de Óis da Ribeira church, along the social center square, returning to contact with the Águeda river on the boatman square.
You are now walking along the river, until a junction of well-defined rural paths, between cornfields. The one on the left goes to Óis and Pateira. Ahead it goes to Requeixo (municipality of Aveiro) and to its arch bridge almost over the confluence of the Rio Cértima with Águeda. From that junction to the bridge is 1300m.
Continuing to Pateria and along its bank, you can quickly reach the leisure park of Óis da Ribeira.
