Capela de S. Tomé, Lourizela
Águeda
In this corner of the mountain we can see several houses built in schist, the small Chapel of S. Tomé, as well as narrow alleys that lead us through the village. There are cultivated lands, which translate into a Bocage landscape, typical of rural areas, in addition to small areas of native forest. Through forest paths and small paths we reach the Alfusqueiro River, where we are treated to naturally amazing landscapes, we discover the staircase that leads us to the ruins of the old mini-water, fantastic “giant pans”, water mills, as well as small waterfalls and lagoons of crystal clear water.
