The PR7 "Trilho dos Poços", because it is circular, can be started anywhere you go, however, given the parking facilities, we opted for the square opposite the inn on the banks of Pateira. Here, in a corner of the garden, an information panel invites you to stroll and provides all the necessary details.

Then, to the west by a cobbled road, two asphalt streets and, on the crossroads of Cepo Mouro, a path is taken between olive trees that leads to a choupal. You cross this by the trail and, in no time, you arrive at Bico.
It is an area of swamps, reeds and water lilies, a perfect refuge for the nesting of wetland birds. The wells, some still with a daughter-in-law, testify to the importance they had in the not-too-distant past.
After Bico, a wide path is now taken along the Pateira bank, until the public washroom built below the ground. The washerwomen who still use it, call it "the river" ...
Now take Rua do Rio, on the left towards the urban area, then Rua da Pedreira and then Rua do Coução. In this street, about 80 meters from its beginning, on the right side, a traditional path is taken which, crossing the backyards and a small stream, which goes to Rua da Alagoa, entering this next to the first headquarters of Banda Marcial de Fermentelos.
Here, head right to Rua do Miradouro, pass through Junta de Freguesia and Cruzeiro, heading left to Igreja Matriz. Go up in the direction of the Centro Sociale, at the rear of it, take a walk that leads to the lane of the School and then to Largo da Senhora da Saúde.
After the rest that the place invites, go up the street of Cabeço Grande
