Our small refuge is located in Marinha Passagem, a property of eight hectares - which once served as a salt navy - surrounded by the channels of the Ria de Aveiro and only accessible by boat.

Description

Due to its unique natural characteristics, the estuary is considered a privileged place for the production of bivalves. At Ostraveiro we do aquaculture of oysters, cockles and clams, as well as guided tours of the production. As we want you to taste what we produce, we decided to convert the former saltpay barn from Marinha Passagem into a perfect place to be with family or friends to taste our delicacies.

Opening Hours:
Thursday and Friday - 11 am - 5 pm
Saturday - 11h00 - 18h00
Guided Tours: 5th, 6th and Saturday by appointment.
Events or groups of up to 30 people: 5th, 6th and Saturday by appointment.
Events or group from 30 people: day to be arranged by appointment.
