The building, dating from the 17th century, was restored, having opened to religious worship in 1860. The façade covered with tiles, stands out the tower, attached to the right and the composition of the portal that includes the choir window. The span is framed by Doric pilasters and straight entablature with high lateral pinnacles.

The window rests on the entablature and also has Doric pilasters. The set crowns a broken pediment topped by a small cross. The façade has Portuguese royal weapons.
The main altarpiece is of traditional neoclassical inspiration. The sculpture of the Virgin of the Rosary with the Child in polychrome wood from the 18th century stands out.
