Museu Convento dos Lóios
Space dedicated to History and Heritage, its purpose is to safeguard, enhance and disseminate the testimonies and memories of the historical and cultural heritage of the municipality and the region, promoting various activities of manifest interest to the understanding of cultural and regional and also national diversity.

Description
In the permanent exhibition, there are nuclei of Archeology, History and Ethnography, where it explains the origin of man, the evolution and development of a vast administrative territory that was once called Terra de Santa Maria.
Created as a Library - Municipal Museum of Vila da Feira on February 5, 1938, it was inaugurated on January 20, 1940. In 1992, it disconnects from the library and is installed in the secular building of the Convento dos Lóios. In 2000, the Municipal Museum Network of Santa Maria da Feira was created and the Municipal Museum acquires a new dynamic, as the central pole of the Network, changing its name to the Convento dos Lóios Museum.
