Construction of the late 19th century, with a neoclassical revivalist facade. It is the oldest concert hall in the city.

Its construction was due to the indomitable will of a handful of natives, among which we point out, the brothers António and Abel Fiúza, Manuel Viana and Drs. Martins Lima, Rodrigo Veloso, António Ferraz and José Vieira Ramos who, at the end of the nineteenth century, they began to think about building a proper and dignified space to represent this noble Art of Talma.
