The Casa de Ínfias was built in the last quarter of the 17th century. The plan of the house is closed by the disposition of the noble gate, which through the wall where it is inserted, joins the side wings, thus remaining the building inserted in a large rectangle that comprises a courtyard in the center. As usual at the time, the floors of the house were divided according to their specific functions. The ground floor housed the rooms for the services of the house, the upper floor accommodated the living space.

As in other examples of sunny architecture at the time, the private chapel, dedicated to Nossa Senhora do Pilar, also plays a major role in the ensemble at Casa de Ínfias.
