Fonte do Ídolo
In the former capital of Conventus Bracara Augustanus, a rock sanctuary was built at the beginning of the first century, which today is known as Fonte do Ídolo, associated with the cult of water. Its construction is probably due to Celico Fronto, a Roman citizen, who had it built for the benefit of the community of Bracara Augusta.

The uniqueness of this granite fountain gave it classification in 1910 as a National Monument and more recently, between 2001 and 2004, it was the target of important works of musealisation, building a structure that protects the monument and allows the public to see it. visit in excellent condition.
