Braga Castle (remains), namely the Keep. What remains of Braga's castle (its keep and some scattered stretches) is the product of the century-old construction campaign, a century of intense military construction activity and which corresponds to most of our medieval defensive structures, both castles and urban fences.
R. do Castelo 19, 4700-328
Braga
The keep is the most important remaining element of the old castle built by D. Dinis. With about 30 meters in height (and a three-storey interior), it still prevails in the urban fabric of the city, despite the extreme proximity of many later buildings. Its construction reveals a clearly Gothic project, with battlements and battlements at the vertices, a twinned window at the top, as well as the D. Dinis arms stones.
