Esposende is a privileged locality, located near the mouth of the river Cávado. Its coast is part of a Protected Landscape Area, now integrated in the Natural Park of the North Coast, between Apúlia and the mouth of Rio Minho, in Caminha.

Mira Rio Hotel is located on the Cávado river, at the southern exit of the city of Esposende, very close to the village of Fão and the well-known Ofir beach. Its Restaurant, operating since 1969, is one of Esposende's most famous and a landmark.

Situated in a recognized tourist area, Mira Rio Hotel is located next to the National Road 13 (connects the North of the South next to the Maritime Coast), on the banks of the Cávado River.

From the balconies of its comfortable rooms you can enjoy a wonderful view of the majestic pine forest of Ofir and the extensive estuary of the river Cávado.
