The Cascata Fecha de Barjas, known by many tourists as Cascata do Tahiti, is located near the village of Ermida, on the road that connects this village to the town of Fafião (Montalegre).

Terras de Bouro
With its waters from the Arado River, it is one of the most stunning waterfalls in Gerês and is increasingly sought after by tourists and visitors to the region, which also requires great care in accessing and enjoying its waters due to the dangers of falls.
Access is on foot from the left bank of the Arado River, right next to the bridge over the river. After a few minutes going down a dirt track, it is necessary to cross a second river, Fafião, to reach the bottom where it is possible to see the entire waterfall (the safest place for bathing). The transposition of the Fafião river depends on the level of its flow.
Information
In waterfalls, avoid bathing in dangerous places and be especially careful with slippery and uneven floors.
