Under the pergola of the Junceda viewpoint, at 915m altitude, it is possible to cover the entire valley of the Gerês river, from the tops of the mountains, such as the foot of Cabril and Borrageiro, to the bottom of the valley, overlooking the reservoir of Reed.

Description

This is one of the four viewpoints that make up the PR6 pedestrian trail - Trilhos dos Miradouros, and nearby you can also find the Junceda guard house, which serves as a starting point for the PR11 - Silha dos Ursos trail.

Contact Information
* Access to Junceda Viewpoint is via a dirt road, 2.5 km long, which is signposted at a junction with the road that connects Campo do Gerês to Vila do Gerês (M-533).
* It has 4 picnic tables without sun protection.
