Description

This bathing area is the ideal place to enjoy relaxing moments by the water while contemplating the surrounding mountains and valleys, the Rio Caldo Marina and the S. Bento da Porta Aberta Sanctuary on the opposite bank.

It is also a point with the presence of companies for carrying out nautical activities.

* The beach is not equipped with lifeguards or other surveillance. We advise prudence with the irregularity and depth of some areas of the reservoir, as well as accesses that can be slippery.
* For safe nautical and bathing activities, the Caniçada Albufeira Management Plan should be consulted, which defines the rules for the use of the reservoir and surrounding area.
