Apimonte has several apiaries located in the Montesinho Natural Park in Bragança, where visits can be provided to observe the activity of bees in their natural habitat. Our chestnut honey, made by artisanal processes, is aimed at consumers who do not dispense with the pleasure of genuine flavors. Awarded with two National Bronze Medals, 2019 and 2020, they are proof of its quality.

There are several reasons to visit Apimonte, besides being able to acquire your honey from Castanheiro, and providing you with visits to observe the activity of bees in their natural habitat, you can also stay overnight in your accommodation, so that you can get to know this beautiful region better. * The village of Dine, about 10 km away with its "lorga" and "lime kilns", a visit to the past.
* Located in Vinhais, this park excels in interpreting the landscape of the region, in its natural (flora, fauna and geography), cultural (history, archeology and ethnography) components and also in terms of environmental education, nature conservation and promotion of biodiversity, development of tourism, especially ecotourism, recreation and leisure for the population.
* Albufeira do Azibo, approximately 40 km from the village and 25 km from the city of Bragança, Praia Fluvial do Azibo is a valuable natural heritage, offering various sports and leisure activities (canoeing, sailing, rowing and fishing).
