Praia Fluvial

This river beach, served by the Mondego River, was created in 1997, when it was endowed with essential infrastructures. It is widely used to practice sports such as kayaking, canoeing, sport fishing and beach volleyball.

Description

On the beach there are picnic tables and barbecue grills, as well as a bar with a terrace, changing rooms, a first aid post, a children's playground, a beach volleyball court and canoe rentals. During the bathing season, it occasionally hosts music concerts and has the presence of a lifeguard. It is also an accessible and Blue Flag beach. On this beach it is also possible to access the Ribeirinho Trail, a pedestrian path that runs along the river for a total of 7 km.
