Description

During the Manueline era, the residence was adapted. Over the years it has undergone several modifications, remodeled and new windows were torn, but its current aspect is not much different from what was adopted at that time when the defensive tower was converted into a home.

At the end of the 19th century, the poet António Nobre lived here for part of the time he attended law school, which gave rise to the name he is known for today.

Currently, it hosts the Guitar and Fado Group of Coimbra that is part of the Municipal Museum of Coimbra.
