The main collection was gathered by Father José Manuel Semedo Azevedo and includes a Neolithic vase, a set of architectural elements and artifacts from the Villa Romana da Retorta, the necropolis of Morgado da Lameira and the Old Mother Church of Albufeira, as well as the Castle of Paderne and elements found in the city, whose origin is unknown.
