Description
The structure of the butterfly garden is unique and refers visually to the image of a cocoon undergoing metamorphosis. Inside there is a garden, with species of our flora, where it is possible to observe butterflies flying freely. It also integrates a laboratory, whose function is the creation of eggs, caterpillars and pupae.
Here, the butterfly species that exist in the Cascais region are introduced, the biology of this group of insects and their interconnection with plants are taught, and visitors are offered an observation and learning experience that contributes to their awakening. and interest in Nature Conservation and Biodiversity.

March to June and October to November: Wednesday to Sunday -10 am to 1 pm | 14h00 to 16h00
July to September: 4th to Sunday (10 am to 1 pm | 2 pm to 5 pm)
