Cascais
In its collection, the Museum of the Village exhibits the most emblematic pieces of Cascais history that illustrate the main moments of the region's past, from the start the Estandarte de Armas or the Cascais Charter granted in 1514 by D. Manuel I and recently restored by autarchy. But pieces from the prehistoric era are also on display, such as Votive Sandals, funereal artifacts that accompanied the dead on their last trip.
The Museum also displays multimedia solutions that allow visitors to interact and browse the history of Cascais. It is on the wings of a seagull (one of the local symbols) that thematic visits chosen by the user are provided and at the speed of their own time. The lighting of the space also interacts with visitors as they approach a certain area.
