Cascais's close relationship with the sea, navigation and fishing is visible in this thematic space, the Museum of the Sea. With sections on Natural History, Ethnology and Underwater Archeology, it has a wide variety of pieces linked to the sea: old maps, clothing fishermen from other times, models of boats and treasures recovered from ships that were shipwrecked off our coast and in the Tagus estuary.
