It once belonged to the Companhia de Jesus, it was the fifth producing wine of Carcavelos, but today it is a green core reminiscent of recent urban growth processes, maintaining itself as a fundamental equipment of the parish of Carcavelos.

Description

From the past, it conserves traces of the original forest, flower beds in box topiary next to the ruins of the old buildings, as well as structural elements of the farm, namely hydraulic parts for capturing groundwater and for storage and conduction to the surface. The lagoon that gives it its name is, even today, fed in the same way, by capturing groundwater.

Widely sought after, it constitutes a space for informal use where active and passive recreation are possible in the wide lawned spaces, in the two playgrounds, in the tennis courts, in the surroundings of the lagoon and even more nostalgically with the older architectural elements.
