Description

This beach is traditionally a fishermen's beach that has a pier for boats where fish is unloaded and then sold at auction. It is for this reason that this beach is also known as Praia dos Pescadores or Praia do Peixe.

Praia da Ribeira is surrounded by Baixa de Cascais - an area of ​​great urban interest. Although it has a good quality of water that is monitored during the bathing season, this beach is not classified as being used for bathing. It has good access and limited and paid parking.

Beach access:
By car - Cascais Center, park in an appropriate place and walk to the beach.
By train - Exit at Cascais station and make the journey on foot.
