It is the first beach in the municipality that we find when we move in the direction of Lisbon-Cascais, being nestled between the Fort of São Julião da Barra and the tip of Rana.

It has a large expanse of sand, being highly sought after by Surf, Windsurf and Bodyboard practitioners, due to the strong undulation of its waters, which is why several competitions are disputed here. There is a pedestrian area that surrounds the beach, where you can find several restaurants, bars and terraces.

Beach access:
By car - By the EN6 - Estrada Marginal - or by the interior of Carcavelos. Park in an appropriate place and walk to the beach.
By train - Exit at Carcavelos station and make the journey on foot.
Access to the beach by stairs and ramps.
