The beach of S. Pedro do Estoril presents a sand of considerable dimensions in the periods of low tide, assuming as the most striking framework the geological “accident” of Pedra do Sal, to the west. Pedra do Sal is composed essentially of limestones and marls with 90 and 120 million years old, being a beach very frequented by surfers

Beach access:
By car - By the EN6 - Estrada Marginal - or by the interior of S. Pedro do Estoril. Park in an appropriate place and walk to the beach.
By train - Exit at S. Pedro do Estoril station and make the journey on foot
Access to the beach by stairs and ramp.
