Quinta do Pisão - Parque Natureza
Dedicated to agro-silvo-pastoral activity, the Quinta represents an important heritage, both in the structural organization of the landscape, compartmentalization and rational use, as well as in the presence of ruins of cultural and architectural value. Human intervention in this area - which is in the transition between the urban area and the Serra de Sintra - resulted in the emergence of new ecological habitats and niches, which are today important for the preservation of nature.

Always open to visitation. Access to motor vehicles is not allowed, except for the car park (9 am and 6 pm).
Quinta do Pisão is characterized by an extremely rich vegetation mosaic, corresponding to a significant diversity of habitats representative of the ecology of this area. Several species of fauna worthy of conservation status are present in this territory, sometimes exploring particular ecological niches, sometimes benefiting from the polysemic structure of the habitats that converge here.
