News Museum

News Museum is Europe's largest Media and Communication experience.
The museum occupies the former facilities of the Toy Museum, in the historic center of Sintra, and invokes and explains the media coverage of episodes from recent history, allowing visitors to interact with Radio and TV.

Description

It honors journalists immortalized by their work, it presents the main protagonists of the industry, it projects the evolution of the reporting of wars, contextualizes the media battles that marked us, recalls the "bad news" of our time.

The equipment is very modern and participative, integrating a small auditorium prepared for educational visits. The experience, available in Portuguese and English, is personalized in a total of 16 hours of video and other formats.

Schedule
Monday and Tuesday reserved exclusively for events and group visits by appointment.

From April to September: 9:30 am - 7:00 pm
Last entry at 6 pm

From October to March: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm
Last admission at 16h00

Closed on December 25
