Description
The Parque de Moutidos invites the visitor, since its entrance, to enjoy a wide area of green spaces distributed by different levels and types of flora that are discovered along these gaps.
On a first level and following the main street, the park offers a lawn that, due to its regularity, allows a multipurpose functionality, whether for children to play or for adults to relax accompanied by a privileged view of the southeastern area of Maia.
As you move towards the highest point of the park - the cafeteria, you pass through several wooden infrastructures harmoniously integrated into the landscape that were designed for toilets, areas to support educational activities and for picnic areas.
The cafeteria is thus the place par excellence to appreciate not only part of the municipality, but also the colors, shapes and smells that the flora presents, from the rose bushes to the aromatic herbs.
Whether you choose to relax on the cafeteria terrace or go around the park on the left, among cypress trees and other shrubs, the visitor can find a refreshing artificial lake, where several species of amphibians and birds live.
The park's landscape is further strengthened by a small pre-existing forest that manages to give the citizen a warm and sheltered feeling from the outside.
