Architect Souto Moura designed this place covered with great urban quality which, due to the definition of spaces, the materials it incorporates, or the urban furniture is the living room of our municipality.

The urban complex, composed by Praça Doutor José Viera de Carvalho, Torre Lidador and Praça north of the Torre Lidador, represents, from the symbolic point of view and simultaneously, the culmination and the beginning of a journey.

The culmination of a recent journey, which transformed a Municipality markedly rural, with serious and profound structural delays, in a municipality with development and quality of life levels at the level of the best in the European Union.
