Classified as a Property of Public Interest, it is a temple built in the 18th century, having replaced a previous one built on the initiative of Infanta D. Mafalda, daughter of D. Sancho I, whose medieval remains are today witnessed by anthropomorphic sarcophagi that flank the exterior of the church body.

The main façade, covered with tiles, preceded by a churchyard cross, is characterized by a semicircular pediment, flanked by two steeples crowned by volutes. The main portal is decorated with curvilinear motifs and topped by a small interrupted pediment, from which a circular plinth, decorated with floral motifs, takes off, on which the patron saint sits. A large window tears up to the eardrum decorated by vertical festoons and flanked by two circular glasses. Inside a single nave with a rectangular chancel stands out the wooden ceiling entirely decorated by painted coffered frames, in the chancel they represent the life of Jesus and on the nave there are biblical scenes, images of apostles and saints. It has gilded altarpieces in white bodies and a nativity scene characteristic of miniature baroque sculpture. On the side walls there are large hanging canvases depicting good death, purgatory, hell and paradise.
