Casa-Museu Marta Ortigão Sampaio

Installed in a building from the 50s, it is the result of a donation by Marta Ortigão Sampaio to the Porto City Council in 1978. Figure of the Porto society, she was the daughter of Eng. Vasco Ortigão Sampaio, collector and patron and maternal niece of the painters Aurélia de Souza and Sofia de Souza.

Opened to the public in 1996, it exhibits collections of painting, jewelry, furniture and other decorative arts evoking the bourgeois atmosphere of the 1st half of the century. XX.
