Igreja Matriz de Alfena e Complexo Paroquial

Modernist religious architecture, characteristic of the 60s. It was designed by the architect Alfredo Moreira da Silva and executed between 1964 and 1968. It is dedicated to the patron saint of Alfena, S. Vicente. The building stands out for its large interior space, which became the largest in the diocese of Porto, as well as the frontal tower that imposes itself on the landscape, due to its beauty and height. The temple is part of a vast social, parochial and sports complex that has several services at the service of the community.
