The Chapel of Senhor da Pedra is located on a rock hit by the sea, on Miramar beach. Its construction, based on a plan centered in a hexagonal shape, due to its architectural design, can date back to the 17th century, although documentary evidence points to the 18th century.

Its interior has three altarpieces in polychrome and gilt carved with Rococo influence, and a wooden pulpit. Of note is the image of the Lord of the Stone - a crucified Christ.
The popular cult of Senhor da Pedra is manifested through the Pilgrimage on the Sunday of the Holy Trinity and is considered one of the largest and most charismatic in the municipality. However, many people visit the place throughout the year. The beach and the Senhor da Pedra mall are additional reasons for visiting and leisure.
