The most recent of the bridges, opened in March 2003, owes its name to Infante D. Henrique, the "Navigator". This road bridge was designed by Engº Adão da Fonseca and its construction was intended to replace the upper deck of the Luiz I bridge, which in the meantime was converted into the Metro passage. Built in reinforced concrete, it has a length of 371 meters and 20 m. width. It is located in the historic area, next to the Serra do Pilar Escarpment. Source: https://www.cm-gaia.pt/
