From 1933, with José Vilaça's design, it has sculptural, architectural and tile elements from the 15th and 16th centuries from ancient buildings in the city.

Regarded as the oldest Tourism Office in the country, it also houses works by Francesco Bartolozzi (tiles), Ricardo Leone (stained glass) and beautiful neo-Renaissance works by the Sousa Braga house.
