Composed of an irregular L-shaped plan and formed by several bodies, it includes a tower, square and crowned with battlements, probably built in the 14th century, and later integrated into the Monastery of Santa Maria de Valboa (Vila Nova de Cerveira).

The medieval tower is included in a structure of baroque manor built in the 18th century, consisting of a large central body composed of double and overlapping arcade and two side staircases. Typologically it is inserted in the so-called “tower house”, however presenting a less common solution when integrating the tower in the center. Source: https://www.visitarcos.pt/
