Funerary megalithic monument, located in Vila Praia de Âncora, was classified as a national monument in 1910. It is considered one of the most emblematic megalithic monuments in the Iberian Peninsula, documenting cultural aspects of the late Neolithic period, that is, the end of the 3rd and beginning of the 2nd millennium.

This monument, commonly called Lapa do Mouro, from an architectural point of view, is formed by a megalithic chamber (sepulchral area), consisting of 9 interwoven pillars, leaning on each other, 4 on each side, from the headboard, slightly fractured that is implanted vertically.
