Description

This area provides its users with a place to rest and contact with nature or even a place to enjoy water sports. This area is still a refuge for vacationers on windy and foggy days on coastal beaches. The Fluvial Beach is close to the Roman Bridge of Vilar de Mouros, an area also endowed with a leisure area, with a picnic area, outdoor living spaces. The surrounding area downstream of the river beach is an integral part of the area classified as Natura 2000 Network, which gives particular characteristics to the landscape of the place. This beach includes all the necessary equipment for your enjoyment.

In 2016 the beach was designated, by the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA), as a river bathing area, which described it as a “rural beach, surrounded by natural landscape, clean and fresh water course, surrounded by landscapes of intense vegetation”. Source: https://www.cm-caminha.pt/
