WELCOME TO COZINHA DO CONVENTO!
It is the restaurant of the Convento dos Capuchos, a
rural hotel located in the historical center of Monção, which combines the tranquility and mystique of a Convent with the modernity and comfort of a 4 star Hotel.
The restaurant integrates the space that was once the Private Chapel of the Convent and later the Cellar of the farm, conserving architectural elements typical of these uses such as chopped bow of the choir or the press to crush the grapes, and where they made experiments of the first wine alvarinho bottled. In summer, the restaurant offers service in the Cloister, providing a unique experience!
The Hotel Convento dos Capuchos is part of the Alvarinho Route and has obtained the Turismo de Portugal Declaration of Tourism Utility, and is still classified as "Public Interest".
A restaurant that has already made its mark in the history of local gastronomy. Awarded in competitions of Green Wines and Gastronomy and Port Wines and Gastronomy.
