The village of Bico extends from the hillside of the Corno de Bico mountain range to the banks of the Coura river, being one of the most extensive and highest parishes in the municipality of Paredes de Coura. Description

Here delicious typical delicacies are prepared, such as honey soup, Bico-style feijoada, millet porridge, rojões, trout and corn bream.

The work in linen and wool perpetuates the ancient arts and the Rancho Folclórica Camponês de Bico, with more than 50 years of existence, keeps the cultural traditions of the village alive.

In the surroundings, more precisely in the hills of Corno de Bico and in Chã de Lamas, you will find traces of papaya trees, dated 5,000 years ago, which prove the existence of settlements from the Neolithic period in this region.
