Dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Piedada, invocation of the primitive chapel where the Brotherhood was headquartered, the current Misericórdia de Pereira church dates back to the first half of the 18th century, when, on the initiative of Provedor Félix de Carvalho Pimentel, the new temple was built.
