Garden with annual plant beds in which the City Halls, Pelourinho and Casa Torreada dos Barbosa Aranha fit. Evonimos (Evonymus fortunei) make up the tallest hedges and decorate the larger beds, divided by boxwood (Buxus sempervirens) and enriched with annual plants.

Ponte de Lima

Description

The visitor is alerted to the sundial integrated in this garden, to the Monument to the Poet António Feijó and to the Fonte da Vila - do not forget that if you drink this water you will no longer leave Ponte de Lima (tradition says).

At the top, parallel to Avenida António Feijó, next to the bandstand, the passage is flanked by camellias (Camellia japonica). On the lawns we find two fire trees (Metrosideros), rose bushes (Rosa), azaleas and rhododendrons (Rhododendron).

The wall in front of the Paços do Concelho building is covered with ferns (Nephrolepis tuberosa) and with ficus vines (Ficus pumila) and virgin vine (Parthenocissus tricuspidata). Along the access ramp to Casa da Porta de Braga we find gardenia (Gardenia jasminoides), rosemary (Lavandula stoechas), rosemary (Rosmarinus officilalis 'Prostratus'), thyme (Thymus), curry herb (Helychrisum italicum) and northern rosemary (Diosma ericoides).
