Rua da Capela de São Lourenço, Gondufe, 4990-650
Ponte de Lima
On the São Lourenço da Armada hill there are traces of houses from the Iron Age and the three lines of walls that defended the town.
From the medieval period is the chapel dedicated to the saint with the same name.
There is still a pilgrimage today, on the 10th of August and it is said that at the end of the festival they brought the image of São Lourenço to the main church, because the shepherds, to protect the cattle from the heat, broke into the chapel doors.
