Description

The vegetation provides a contrast with Avenida dos Plátanos, with the chestnut tree of India (Aesculus hippocastanum) predominating. The remaining trees and shrubs were grouped by their size and foliage, trying to take advantage of the color of the leaf and flowering at different times. The following plants stand out: Cedrus deodara, Cupressus sempervirens, Populus nigra 'Italica', Gingko biloba, Camellia japonica, Azalea indica, Rhododendron sp, Cotoneaster salicifolia, Choisya ternata, Hydrangea macrophylla, Spiraea bumalda, Spiraea bumalda, Spiraeais, horizontal pentandra, Prunus laurocerasus, Ilex aquifolium, Magnolia soulangeana, Forsythia intermedia, Philadelphus coronarius, Hebe 'Autumn Glory', Laurus nobilis, Viburnum tinus, Eleagnus pungens 'Maculata', Erica, Hypericum and Berberis.
