Minho manor with chapel, in Ponte de Lima, whose history goes back to the 15th century, when Fernão Pereira and his wife, Maria Vasques Malheiro, received him in exchange for the patronage of the church of S. Tiago de Cristelo. In 1566, Inês Pinto, daughter-in-law of the primitive owners, built a medieval tower, which still stands today in the center of the manor as a symbol of the house's antiquity.

This lady established two bonds, donating them to each of her children. The two parties remained in dispute over several generations, and were then reunited through the marriage of two cousins in 1792. This separation of the bonds led to the construction of houses with separate wings next to the tower, one of which was more advanced. The ensemble has a Baroque style, due to the decorative care that is placed on the façade, but reveals, due to architectural solutions, a mannerist taste.
